SMTP Address Usage

Use this report to list messages sent to SMTP addresses that are not, or no longer, defined as primary in your directory. Please select your Edge server in the Scan on tab before running it.

• Highlights secondary SMTP addresses used by external senders.
• Utilizes tracking logs on Edge role servers in real-time for data extraction, offering a non-intrusive method to gather information on SMTP address usage without direct database access.
• Allows for the selection and grouping of mailboxes based on attributes, enabling customized analysis.
• Permits messages to be filtered based on direction (incoming or outgoing), aiding in the segregation and analysis of communication flow based on sender or recipient perspectives.
• Offers flexibility in adjusting the report's level of detail, ranging from aggregated totals to individual message specifics.
