How do I upgrade to a more recent release of Promodag Reports?

Question:

I am running Promodag Reports 14.x and I would like to upgrade my installation to the latest release 14.y.
What do I need to do?

Answer:

The procedure is pretty straightforward.

Simply download the latest package from our Downloads page.
Remove your existing installation. Your settings will not be removed (see below link for more information).
Check that the installation directory is empty. By default, it is C:\Program Files\Promodag\Reports14\.
Run the package. You will not need to reboot the computer once the installation process is completed.
Start Promodag Reports. It will reconnect to the last used database and prompt you to upgrade it if necessary.

You are now ready to use the latest version of Promodag Reports!
